Having a Mac helps too because there's no Internet Exploder for it (no ActiveX garbage), so that eliminates 90% of my internet problems from ever occurring.

I think the current version of the Shockwave player is BROKE!!! I like Firefox and would like to have it working, but this "shockwave flash plugin" problem has been a persistent problem for the last year. I also did a clean install of windows and only installed firefox and I still have the same problem.
